When I first moved to Fort Worth, I would spend hours driving around, and every day I found myself staring at the sky while driving, thinking of the sky as my ocean. I kept noticing the signs that floated against the blue expanse, and was surprised at how often the signs appeared as epiphanies that spoke to me and resonated or contrasted with some inner feeling I had that day. And so I started looking up at the signs, seeking answers from words that seemed, literally, to be falling from above. |
